To launch their signature candle range, Virginutty wanted visuals that showcased more than just what each scent was, but the world each one transported you to.
With Virginutty infusing the brand’s Filipino roots into their candles, each fragrance embodied distinct moments of life in the islands. From ‘morning mist in the mountains’ to ‘lazing on a bamboo bench’ each scent took me back to my own memories of childhood in the Philippines.
This inspired me to turn each candle into a wider landscape, a moment of serenity and stillness. Shimmering textures and glowing effects are used to make each scene feel like a hazy, romanticised memory.
